This Privacy Policy describes how Suspektu ("the app", "we") handles data when you use the application. Suspektu is developed by KiCla Games.
Website analytics
When you visit this website, Google Analytics is used only after you accept analytics cookies. It measures website traffic and interactions such as page views and App Store clicks, without deliberately sending directly identifying information. You can change your choice at any time with the Analytics preferences button. Read the KiCla Games website privacy policy for details.
Summary
- Suspektu is a deduction game. Puzzles are played offline and no account is required.
- Your progress (board positions, notes, times, mistakes, hints, stars, statistics and preferences) is stored on your device — never on our servers.
- We do not collect or sell your personal data, and the app sends no usage analytics to first- or third-party tools.
- Advertising and its consent form require an Internet connection: optional rewarded video ads you choose to watch, plus a full-screen interstitial ad after completing a case (never the tutorial), served by Google AdMob.
1. Data stored on your device
Board positions, notes, time, mistakes, hints, results, stars, the hint wallet, daily rewards and preferences are stored on your device (via SwiftData) so you can continue playing. The app does not transmit this information to servers operated by the game publisher. Deleting the app removes its local data.
2. Rewarded advertising
You may choose, at your own initiative, to watch a video ad to receive in-game rewards (for example, hints or the daily reward). These ads are provided by Google AdMob and are never shown without an explicit action from you.
3. Interstitial advertising
After completing a case — except the tutorial — Suspektu may show a full-screen interstitial ad at a natural transition point, before moving on to the next case or returning to the menu. This ad grants no reward and can be dismissed to continue. If no ad is available, the game continues without interruption.
4. Consent & advertising preferences
In Europe (EEA/UK), a consent form provided by the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) is shown on first launch, as required by Google. Your choices determine whether ads may use identifiers for personalisation. You can review your choices at any time via "Manage privacy preferences" in the app's Settings, where available in your region. The app respects the consent state before requesting or presenting ads and includes no mechanism to bypass it.
5. Analytics
This version does not send usage data to first- or third-party analytics tools. In-game statistics (time, mistakes, hints, stars) are computed and stored on the device only. Ad-related measurement is performed by Google as the advertising provider, subject to the applicable consent above.
6. Third-party services
Advertising is provided by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) and consent by the Google User Messaging Platform. As the advertising provider, and according to the configuration used, the applicable consent and Google's policies, Google may process information related to your device, ad interaction, identifiers (where applicable), technical data, diagnostics, ad performance, and measurement and fraud prevention. 7. Sharing a result
Sharing a result is initiated by you using the system share sheet. Only the displayed result text is shared, including game statistics and excluding the solution. How the receiving app handles that text depends on the service you choose.
8. In-app purchases
Suspektu does not require any purchase — all cases are unlocked by playing. Any optional store or Game Center features are handled exclusively by Apple (StoreKit / GameKit), which processes payment data; we never have access to your card number or billing details.
9. Children's data
Suspektu is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Ads shown respect the general content rating configured in AdMob.
10. Retention and deletion
Data stored on the device remains local while retained by the app. Deleting the app removes its local data; device backups are managed through Apple's settings and services. This version provides no app-managed synchronisation between devices.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
